Who, What, Why?

Welcome to The Animal House
The Fresh and Friendly Approach to Veterinary Practice

We are open every day, including bank holidays except for Christmas Day and New Years' Day where our out of hours service is available for you to call.

We have staff who work from four basic shift patterns, and on-call nurses and vets to give us a broad spread of availability. Our staff work 8 hour shifts, so they are always focused and fresh. We know we need to provide good advice to help our clients make the right choices. Our shift patterns allow for training during the day so that we know we make the best efforts for our team to be up-to-date and knowledgable, whether it is a vet, a nurse, or a receptionist. All of our staff are fully qualified in their disciplines, with extensive experience to draw upon.

We have invested in extensive high-tech equipment that allows us to offer a broad spectrum of options to our clients. We can offer a comprehensive range of treatments, from small routine procedures to complex soft-tissue surgery. We regularly use our digital x-ray system, our ultrasound scanners, endoscopes, infusion pumps and in-house laboratory to provide a speedy diagnosis for your pet to get it well again. No task is too great or small, even if you only need a pet microchip.

Many of our procedures are often non-profit which supports our ethical stance.

Getting it right is a massive priority for us. Many well known animal charities, such as the Cats Protection, The Dogs Trust and the RSPCA, and even smaller local charities have made us their veterinary practice of choice. We go the extra mile for any animal in our care.

The appointment times we have adopted are when our clients prefer to visit us. Everyone at the Animal House adores working with all manner of animals, regarding their career as a vocation, not just a job. We are here to help you make the best choices for your pet.

For all emergencies please call our surgery on 01788 575300 immediately.

We will be able to give you immediate advice and arrange for animals to be seen.

In the case of suspected companion animal emergencies you can call us for advice or you can still immediately contact:

34 Barker Butts Lane, Coundon, Coventry CV6 1DT on 02476 6594354.

We would be grateful if you could inform us of any contact with VetsNow so we are up to date with any treatments or advice you have been given about your pet.
